Contractor safety briefing

As health & safety is our primary concern, the person-in-charge of contractor is required to attend the compulsory briefing session conducted by our safety officer. Contractors who fail to attend the briefing will not be able to collect the badges and vehicle passes.

Details of the briefing session:

Time: 15:00 – 16:00
Online meeting by MS Teams, invitation link will be provided in a separate email.
** Please attend the briefing on time. The briefing will be conducted in Cantonese.

Details of badge collection session:
Date: June 15, 2021
Time: 13:00- 17:00
Venue: Room 1901, 19/F, Pico Tower, 64-66 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

Contractors who order meal box services from the HKCEC can enjoy the meal in an exclusive area.

If you wish to enjoy the contractor mealbox services provided by HKCEC, please download the order form and payment form and return to The Food and Beverage Department of HKCEC by June 9, 2021. Only pre-order will be accepted, on-site sale of contractor mealbox will not be available.

According to the HKCEC House rules, outside catering is not allowed. Please do not order any Food & Beverage from outside providers. All food delivery will be prohibited.

All workers who present on the fair days (June 24 – 27) are required to provide the COVID-19 test negative result (test date should be on or after June 14) or vaccination record (completed two doses on or before June 9) when applying the temporary badges, and to keep such record for 31 days.

Non-official contractors should strictly follow the above schedule.

No early set up and overtime work will be allowed. All construction materials, equipment and waste must be moved-in/removed within the above schedule. All site work deposit will be deducted if the non-official contractors fail to comply with the schedule.
 
# For safety reasons, it is strictly prohibited to unload booth construction materials, use the ladder in the aisle and build the booth exterior on the exhibitor’s move-in day.

  • It takes 20 working days for commenting on the booth plans. Please submit all the above items to the related Official Contractor (except item d) before the deadline.
  • Any late submission of each of the above items will be subject to a surcharge of HKD3,000. 
  • Submission of the booth plan will NOT be accepted after May 28, 2021.
  • Application of badges (item d) will NOT be accepted after May 28, 2021.
  • The booth plan will not be commented on if any of the above items has not been submitted.
  • Contractors will not be admitted into halls if either one of the above items has not been submitted or if the plans for such work have not been received and commented on.
